Tailored Wool Architect's Jacket | Navy

The Architect's Jacket feels just at home for a post exhibit dinner at The Modern as it does for the late drink at Milano's that invariably follows.

This tailored iteration of the core TÉCHIN design the jacket is fully canvassed with exceptionally light linen and features a light padding through the shoulder. As always, the design elements takes its cues from the rigorous grid of windows perforating the facade of the Seagram Building. Its gently draped collar falls into a single button closure, while extensive pick stitched elements, rendering a trompe l'oeil effect directly onto the cloth.

Originally developed for Bill Murray and Jan Vogler to wear on stages around the world, the Tailored Architect’s Jacket was never intended as a costume. It is a proper suit jacket made for the considerably less proper ways it might actually be worn.

Crafted from a structured, yet remarkably fine one hundred percent midnight navy wool cloth from Huddersfield, England featuring a one hundred percent bemberg lining.

the material

English Wool

Woven in Huddersfield from pure wool, a classic English suiting with the strength and structure to hold a clean silhouette while remaining supple through the body. Its balanced weight creates a natural, controlled drape ideal for a draped-collar jacket, complemented by a beautifully smooth surface and the quiet depth characteristic of fine worsted wool.

Sophistication at ease
